About Our Lunch Menu
We source our ingredients from various farms and the highest quality purveyors we can find, which means we frequently change our menu or run out of items. Below, please find a sampling of some of the items that are staples on our lunch menu, along with some sample seasonal menu items that have appeared in the past.
Torta di Spinaci ($7):
Deep-dish savory pie made to resemble the Italian flag, with a layer of spinach/onions, followed by roasted red peppers, followed by a layer of mushrooms, artichoke hearts, and two cheeses, in a whole wheat crust. During lunch served with field green salad for $10.
Torta di Rustica ($7):
Deep-dish savory pie with a mixture of pepperoni, sausage, eggs, and four cheeses baked in a flaky crust. During lunch served with field green salad for $10.
Chicken Salad ($12):
Made with Amish chicken (the best, in our opinion), sautéed vegetables, and crème fraȋche, served on a bed of field greens and fresh tomatoes with French bread.
Beet and Green Bean Salad ($12):
French green beans, beets, and seasonal vegetables, goat cheese, balsamic vinaigrette.
Spinach and Strawberry Salad ($12):
With slivered almonds, feta, white balsamic vinaigrette
Chicken Confit ($12):
Leg and thigh portion of Amish chicken, slow-cooked in duck fat and then seared to produce a shatteringly crisp skin. Served with a field green salad with cider vinaigrette and goat cheese crumbles.
Goat Cheese Plate ($9):
Goat cheese with chile pepper or house-made salsa, served with toasted French bread.
With homemade tahini and warm pita
Artichoke Sandwich ($7):
Marinated artichokes and mozzarella cheese toasted on French baguette.
Meat with tomatoes, onions, and mozzarella cheese toasted on French bread.
Meat-filled pasta with peas, mushrooms, and prosciutto in a cream sauce.
Cheese Tortellini ($12):
Cheese-filled pasta with mushrooms, artichokes, peas, and tomatoes in a cream sauce.
Smoked Trout Plate ($12):
With crème fraȋche, pea shoots, toasted French bread.
Sliced meat (availability varies) topped with spinach, tomato, goat cheese on pita bread.
Caprese Salad (seasonal):
Thick slices of fresh tomato layered with fresh mozzarella cheese, topped with basil and cider vinaigrette.
Beet Salad (seasonal):
Field greens with beets, tomatoes, mushrooms, and parmesan Reggiano cheese, topped with cider vinaigrette.
